Manzana 1 Art Space

Manzana 1 Espacio de Arte es una galería sin fines de lucro ubicada en el centro histórico de Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. Inaugurada el 27 de septiembre de 2005, la galería se encuentra en un edificio declarado patrimonio histórico, anteriormente ocupado por la Policía Nacional. Tras 13 años de abandono, el espacio fue restaurado y convertido en un centro cultural gracias al esfuerzo de artistas locales y el apoyo de la comunidad.

Manzana 1 offers a variety of cultural and artistic activities for the general public, including:

Art Exhibitions: Temporary showcases of painting, sculpture, photography, installations, graphic design, and applied arts.
"Art in the Plaza": An outdoor exhibition featuring 36 large-format images on metal supports, renewed four times a year, aiming to create visual impact and promote interaction with art in public spaces.
International Sculptors Symposium: A biennial event that brings together national and international artists for live sculpture creation, fostering cultural and artistic exchange.
