

Cuevas
A private natural spot located about 20 km from Samaipata, along the old route to the Amboró Park area. This place features waterfalls and crystal-clear natural pools, surrounded by mountains and forests. It is managed by a local initiative with basic facilities and striking landscapes.

Gentle hiking along well-marked trails, including wooden stairways leading to several waterfalls.
Refreshing dips under waterfalls of varying heights, with cold, crystal-clear water, especially ideal during the dry season.
Picnic and relaxation by the water: Many visitors recommend bringing food, drinks, or mate to enjoy a full day outdoors.
Camping or short stays: Private cabins are available on-site (rental approximately Bs 60–90 per night), along with a camping area near the entrance.







How to get there?
From Samaipata (≈20 km):
By taxi or mototaxi: around Bs 15–50 per trip from the plaza, depending on the vehicle and if the ride is shared.
By private car: mixed dirt and gravel road, with parking available at the entrance.
Once there, access is on foot from the entrance gate.
Additional information
Recommended season: All year round, but especially summer to enjoy the water. Note that during the rainy season, the water can be more turbid.
