How to get there?
Private vehicle: Mixed road (paved + dirt) from Samaipata; 4×4 or a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.
Taxi / tour: Prices range from Bs 100 to 200, including guide and transportation.
Group arrangement: It is possible to negotiate for a taxi to wait during the hike (extra Bs 20–30).

Climate and best season to visit:
Temperate climate. The best time to visit is during the dry season, from late October to July, when weather conditions are more favorable for outdoor activities.
Recommendations
Hire a local guide (essential for safety and local support).
Carry cash (there are no shops along the trail).
Check weather conditions and avoid the rainy season (December–April).
Plan your visit in advance; tours usually include a box lunch.
